WWE recently rehired legendary professional wrestler Nikki Bella, who is also a WWE Hall of Famer. Instantly, a large number of fans broke into criticizing WWE officials for rehiring her. Nikki Bella always had to face major criticism from the fans and critics for her weak in ring skills and mic skills. Still, she was promoted as one of the top stars of her time.

As soon as she was rehired, WWE officials booked her in a feud with Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. Throughout the build up segments, Nikki was poor. And when the match finally took place at the Clash in Paris event last Sunday, Nikki showcased a terrible performance.

Nikki Bella fires back at her critics

The fans instantly broke into criticism and claimed that Becky Lynch carried her throughout the match. Nikki Bella recently talked about this match on her “Nikki & Brie Show,” where she fired back at her critics and claimed that she is really proud of herself for whatever she did. Here is what she had to say;

Nikki is the longest reigning WWE Divas Champion

“The match, I’ll be honest, I’m so proud of myself. It’s been hard living where I live, hands-on mom, full-time mom, and when I’m mom, I’m single mom. Then, running two companies and having all the things but also making my comeback a priority too but nothing would be a bigger priority than [my child].

Nikki Bella recently challenged Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship

"So, having all those things and getting these really big opportunities and not knowing — it’s not like back in the day when we were doing live events before the big match. I had to stay overseas so I don’t get to be in the PC before a big match, you just go out and do it. I was so proud of myself and it was really cute because when I came back, they were all clapping for me and it was really special.” said Bella.

WWE officials had to go through more criticism for rehiring Nikki Bella when she was pretty much out of her prime. The constant criticism remained as WWE kept on releasing younger talents and bringing back older talent like Nikki. Clash in Paris was an amazing event, but Nikki vs. Becky Lynch will always be considered the biggest Black Mark of this event.
