Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson may be on his way out of his present club with several clubs already interested in the English International. Manchester United was the first club to make an enquiry about him, according to reports, but they decided to step down after they wanted to know about the asking price.

Reports suggest that Chelsea want a fee worth £80 million for the English International, and Manchester United were not ready to meet this bid. Tottenham Hotspur were also reported to be interested in Jackson, but the same question arises, whether they would be able to meet the asking price that Chelsea have set for him.

Nicola Jackson is presently a target for Newcastle United after multiple failed attempts to sign other forwards. Their first target was Joao Pedro; after they failed to bag him, they shifted their interest to players like Liam Delap, Hugo Ekitike, and, most recently, Benjamin Sesko.

But unfortunately, they have in every case. All of their targets have been hijacked by their biggest rivals. They are so desperate to find a major forward this season because their top forward and also the best player on their team, Alexander Isak, is desperate to leave the club this season.

Newcastle United are leading the race to sign Jackson

They have tried their best to keep Isak, but the Swedish International looks quite determined to leave Newcastle and join one of their biggest rivals, Liverpool. They have set a British star transfer fee for the Swedish International, but despite being ready to spend money on a replacement, they are failing every time.

Reports suggest that Chelsea Football Club want £80 million for Nicolas Jackson, and Newcastle United are the only contender to sign him for that amount of fee. According to reports from Sun Sport, if Jackson has to leave Chelsea this season, he only prefer to stay in the Premier League. So it should not be very difficult for Newcastle to sign him.
