During his early career, MVP came in contact with many professional wrestling legends, including "Macho Man" Randy Savage, whom he mentioned recently, and also revealed what he learned from this late great WWE Hall of Famer. Speaking on a recent edition of his “Marking Out” podcast, he explained the following;

MVP is a former WWE United States Champion

“He said two things, over and over. ‘Don’t trust anybody, because everybody’s always trying to take your spot. And save your money. Save your money kid. You can live and have a good life, but save your money.’ said the former WWE United States Champion.
