WWE Money in the Bank 2025 featured a total of five matches, including the two MITB ladder matches. The men's intercontinental championship match was added later on to the card, and it was definitely a good addition. Let us talk about the matches one after another.
First, let us talk about the women's Money in the Bank ladder match, which was won by the former two times World Champion Naomi. Was she a predictable winner? Absolutely. Not only was she the odd on favourite, but anyone could see this outcome coming.

Was Money in the Bank 2025 a predictable event
Before WrestleMania 41, she went through a total repackage of Naomi, and this was the first time she transitioned into a heel character. This new character was definitely given for some purpose, and it is the much awaited main event run of the former two times World Champion.
Naomi won the women's Money in the Bank 2025 ladder match
The other matches include the Men's and the Women's Intercontinental Championship matches. The women's version could have been unpredictable if the "Last Chance" angle had not been added. The match was quite good anyway. And the men's version was also quite predictable. It was obvious that Dominik Mysterio would not drop his title to an AAA wrestler.

Seth Rollins won the men's Money in the Bank 2025
The men's MITB match has to be the biggest disappointment of them all. Seth Rollins was the favourite to win, and he won. Rollins had absolutely no need to win this match, he is a five times World Champion. He could get a world title shot anytime he wishes. Probably WWE is forgetting the purpose of MITB: to promote the next big star.

About the main event, it was also obvious that Cody Rhodes would pin John Cena, and that was the reason the title was not on the line. But the return of R Truth was the biggest shocker of the event, and it can also be considered one of the biggest shockers of the year. Overal,l it was a totally predictable event. If it were not there for R Truth, it would have had nothing special.
