Maxxine Dupri recently shocked the entire world by defeating Becky Lynch, who is one of the best in the business, for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. Nobody ever expected that she could win such a major Championship in the promotion, especially given her past work in WWE; it never felt so.

Maxxine Dupri was introduced to the main roster audience of WWE in 2022. She made her WWE debut in the same year under the ring name Sofia Cromwell. After she was promoted to the main roster, she was given a new character, and she was portrayed as the onscreen sister of LA Knight, who was playing the character of Max Dupri back then.

She was only playing the character of a valet in her early career. But she made her in ring debut in 2023 against Sarah Logan. She may not be very impressive in her first match, but she kept on working in the ring ever since. She was also portrayed as a member of the Alpha Academy faction, as she left her previous team, Maximum Male Models.

Maxxine Dupri has been active in WWE since 2022

Maxxine Dupri kept on improving in the ring, and it has been confirmed by many WWE stars that she works really hard in training. Her hard work paid off when she won the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship recently. Dupri recently talked about her growth in WWE while speaking on the “Battleground” podcast. She said the following;

“It’s weird because it feels like incredible and awful at the same time. I think back to those moments that I wish I could erase. But at the same time, I feel like those are the moments that created who Maxxine is. And without failing I don’t know that I would have been in this position.

"So in a weird way, I’m grateful for how green I was. And for being thrown the deep end, and even for the times that I failed and felt like I was never going to see the other side of it, or never show the fans how much I cared and how much I wanted to grow, and how much work I was putting in.”

“So to to be able to have the opportunity to a, show them that was so awesome. But then to also show myself like, ‘No, I’m capable. And I’m capable of growing and putting in the work and seeing the changes, and taking an opportunity and making the most of it. And because of that, we’re finally here.” said the present WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion.
