When TNA Wrestling entered the business of professional wrestling, it was competing at the highest level with some of the biggest stars in professional wrestling, like Kurt Angle and Sting, working in the promotion. It was also one of the biggest competitions WWE had back in the 2000s.
But with time, TNA Wrestling lost its charm, and at one point, it was nowhere near where it used to be during its early days. But after it signed a multi year partnership deal with WWE recently, it has started to grow again. It is working regularly with WWE, and cross promotion appearances can be seen each and every week from both sides.

Matt Hardy does not think TNA Wrestling will change its night to compete with AEW
Some of the fans have already started to make the claim that TNA Wrestling may be planning to compete with AEW since the promotion has no support from mighty WWE, but WWE legend and present TNA star Matt Hardy believed that TNA Wrestling does not have any such plans. Matt Hardy also explained that TNA does not want to change the night to compete with AEW directly. Speaking on his “The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy” podcast, he said;
TNA Wrestling signed a multi year partnership deal with WWE recently
“I honestly don’t see it happening. And I’ve asked several people about it, and maybe it was in the conversation at some point. But I haven’t heard anything to suggest that’s a conversation that’s happened. I’ve been trying to be on it for the last couple of days. So I don’t know. I think TNA is going to stay on Thursday nights regardless. That’s its night.”

TNA is mostly working with WWE's developmental territory NXT
Matt Hardy also talked about the pregnancy of Naomi, “Congratulations to Naomi and Jimmy Uso… I mean, it’s changed greatly. Just — once again, it just shows how pro wrestling is mirroring society in a lot of ways. Just that women have a lot more rights, and also they do make that choice to get pregnant, whether it’s on purpose or not on purpose, they’re they’re honored. And they’ll be able to leave, go away, have the child, and then they can come back at a later date, and like nothing is nothing has changed.”
As of now, TNA Wrestling is mostly working with the NXT, which is the developmental territory of WWE, and cross promotion appearances would be seen from both sides every week. TNA Wrestling has been pretty much profited from this deal and we can expect them to compete at a high level soon.
