WWE resurrected ECW in 2006 and started to run it as a parallel brand to SmackDown and RAW. In 2005, they organised a show named One Night Stand, which was a tribute to the original ECW, and a lot of ECW stars were in action in this mentioned show. Needless to say, it was a massive success.
In 2006, WWE returned with the same event, and they also started to run ECW as a separate brand. But it could not be as successful as its original counterpart, as it relied more on WWE stars than original ECW stars. Mark Henry was one of the wrestlers who was a big part of ECW during its second run.

Mark Henry remembers his ECW Championship reign
Mark Henry was also one of the final ECW Champions as he won the title back in 2008. He had been a successful champion, but during his reign, WWE decided to change the design of the title. Mark Henry recently remembered WWE changing the original design of the ECW title while speaking with Isiah Madrigal. He said the following about it;
The ECW title design was changed during his title reign
“They wanted to find a title that fit me, because if you look at those pictures, that ECW Title was very small. It was like one of the old school type belts." He continued, “They wanted me to have a belt that befitting of a giant. So they designed this – I mean, that belt was huge. It was probably about 10 to 12 pounds, it was very heavy.”

Mark Henry took the title from Kane at Night of Champions 2008 event
When WWE introduced ECW as a separate brand in 2006, they also brought back the original ECW World Championship, and the design remained the same as the original one from the 90s. But for some unknown reason, they decided to change the design in 2008 after Henry won the Championship.
The latter design of the ECW title has never been favored by the majority of the wrestling fans, as it looked more like a WWE version of the ECW title. Henry, on the other hand, had a really strong reign of the ECW Championship as he had a title reign of 70 days before dropping the title to Matt Hardy at the Unforgiven event.
