He was really close to signing for Liverpool on the deadline day of the summer transfer window, but the deal collapsed as Crystal Palace decided to keep him until next season, and they are ready to let him go for free.
Marc Guehi makes his stance clear about his future
Liverpool, on the other hand, are having a really difficult time period, and reports have it that they are not going to wait until the next summer transfer window to get Marc Guehi for free. In fact, they will move for him once again in the upcoming winter transfer window, and they were also ready to spend £35 million to get the much wanted signature of the English International.

But things are not going to be easy for Liverpool, since other big teams are also desperately interested in the 25 year old. Sky Sports recently got the opportunity to speak with Marc Guehi about his failed Liverpool move and his future goals. The English International made his future goal quite clear. Here is what he has to say say;

"I think everyone has this perception and idea that it was difficult. It actually wasn’t difficult. It wasn’t difficult at all because when you’re focused on what’s the most important thing it becomes easy." He continued, "I know that God has a plan for me and whatever that plan will be will come into fruition at some point. But the goal and the focus is always been playing football and trying to do that the best I can."
It is not very clear what the 25 year old hinted about his future, but the football fans have been divided into two parts over his statement. Some fans believe that he is considering staying at Crystal Palace at the end, and some fans believe that he has made up his mind to move to Liverpool at the end of the ongoing season. But one thing everyone will agree on is that things will not be easy for Liverpool to get his signature whenever they try to get him.
