Nikki Bella has recently made her return to WWE on a full time basis, and she has already made a number of appearances. She even had a big Mac had a premium live event where she challenged Becky Lynch for the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. Needless to say, she lost the match.
She also had another match in an episode of Monday Night RAW against the Japanese professional wrestler Asuka, where once again she had to face a defeat. After this defeat, she has not been seen on WWE television, and it has not been confirmed when she will finally make her return to the promotion.
Backstage update on the future of Nikki Bella
After Nikki Bella faced back to back defeats following her return, the fans have started to wonder about the purpose of her return. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select recently hosted a Q&A session where she was asked about Nikki's future. The journalist replied by saying the following on the WWE Hall of Famer;

"The last I'd heard she would be around here and there," Ross Sapp said, "I don't think there were any real plans for her in Australia so there wasn't a great need to have her around for the build to that. They expect Nikki to be on the show for a while from everything that I've heard."
She has not been seen on television after losing to Asuka on RAW
Nikki Bella is getting a treatment of a legend in WWE during her present run in the promotion, but it is pretty much confirmed that she will not be promoted as a main eventer. In fact, the promotion will use her to put over younger talents, as per rumors, and since she is going to be in WWE for a while, the fans can expect her to continue her role.
According to some reports, WWE is also planning to bring back Trish Stratus too soon a similar role, but nothing has been confirmed on when the WWE Hall of Famer will potentially return to action. About Nikki, it is hard to expect her to appear on screen regularly since WWE has a packed roster, but it can be expected that she will keep on putting over talents whenever she appears on screen.
