Liverpool are presently going through a very difficult time as they have registered back to back three defeats despite starting the new campaign in an amazing way. They managed 7 back to back victories in all competitions, and among six of those seven games, they won with the help of late winners.

But everything started going downhill after their defeat against Crystal Palace in the Premier League gameweek 6. Palace won the game via a late winner, much like Liverpool had beaten their opponents in the previous games. They also lost back to back two games, one of them was a UEFA Champions League fixture and the other one was a Premier League fixture.

Liverpool are set to miss out on long time transfer target

Surprisingly, they lost to Chelsea via a late goal once again. Something is terribly going wrong with Liverpool, and presently it looks like they are music out on the creativity that was created by Trent Alexander Arnold, who decided to leave the club for Real Madrid. They brought in multiple players to keep the creativity intact, but things are somehow not working.

Marc Guehi had been a long time transfer target for the Reds

One of the biggest flops for Liverpool Football Club so far has been their £100 million+ signing, Florian Wirtz, who has been absolutely awful as of now. He arrived in the club with a lot of expectations, but so far, he has failed to deliver miserably. Some of the key Liverpool players had also been terribly off form, which had also been a big reason behind this downfall.

Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in Marc Guehi

In the transfer window earlier this summer, they almost secured the signature of Marc Guehi, but ultimately, the deal collapsed, and Liverpool decided to wait for the player until next season and sign him for free. The English International also expressed his desire to join the Reds, so it did not look like it was going to be a very difficult job for the defending Premier League champions.

But much like on the field, it looks like they are going to face disappointment once again as German Giants Bayern Munich are also reported to be after the English International, and they are also confident of securing this free transfer next season. Liverpool's bad luck may continue in the transfer market as well as on the field.
