LA Knight is indeed one of the most famous names in WWE right now, and he is often considered the Megastar of the promotion. He was introduced to the WWE main roster audience back in 2022, and during his early career, he was not considered a big deal. In fact, Vince McMahon did not even consider him a wrestler, as he was treated as a valet for a jobber tag team.
But things started to improve for him after Triple H gave him his Knight persona back, and he became one of the most over wrestlers, mostly because of his excellent mic skills and his catchphrase "yeah," which became an overnight sensation. His hard work paid off as he won the WWE United States Championship two times.
LA Knight gets praised for his recent work
We can expect him to win more titles in the future as he regularly features on the main event storylines regularly, and he is treated as a concrete upper mid card. Recently, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley, who has always been a big critic of Knight, shared praise for his recent work in WWE. Speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, he said the following;

“We have hope for LA Knight. How the hell can we have hope for LA Knight after he just tapped to Gunther? It’s because everything that was presented last night worked. Pencil to paper, paper to producer, producer to talent." Said WWE Hall of Famer and the Tag Team legend.
He recently picked up a storyline injury on RAW
He continued, “And the majority of the props from last night go to LA Knight, because at the end of the day, he had to totally forget about the tapping to Gunther, the bad night that he had, that he acknowledged — and I love that he acknowledged his bad night — ‘Things haven’t been going so great for me lately.’ Good job, babyface. You’re just being honest.”
Knight may have been doing an excellent job, but a large number of fans are not happy with the way he has been treated in the promotion lately. A large number of fans believe that he should be promoted as a main event star, and he should also win a World Championship. But it does not look like WWE has any such plan for him at this moment.
