LA Knight is indeed one of the most over wrestlers in WWE right now, and without any doubt, he has thrived under the reign of Triple H. When he made his main roster debut back in 2022, Vince McMahon was in charge, and he did not even see him as a wrestler. In fact, he was promoted as a manager for a lower mid card group.

DDP discusses the present push of LA Knight
After Triple H became the head of Creative of WWE following the retirement of Vince McMahon, he gave him back his LA Knight character, but he was only pushed as a lower mid card in his early days in the main roster. Still, he became extremely popular among the WWE fans, and Triple H decided to award him with a strong mid card push.
LA Knight has been active in the main roster of WWE since 2022
He even went on to become a two times WWE United States champion, and he walked in as the WWE United States champion at WrestleMania 41. Triple H was the sole reason behind his Championship success in WWE. Vince McMahon would have never given him this break.
But the fans are not happy with just a mid card push, and a large number of fans believe that he should be given a main event push. Professional wrestling legend and WWE Hall of Famer DDP recently discussed the push that LA Knight is receiving so far. Speaking with Chris Van Vliet on his “Insight” podcast, he explained the following;

Knight is a two times WWE United States Champion
“I love that kid [LA Knight], man. I love the tenacity of the stick to it, it took him a long time to get to that character. And he was good before that, but now he’s great. Hopefully at some point he gets a chance to really get that ball, because he can run with it, give him that damn ball, because that cat, he’s got it all.”
“And people who say that he’s mimicking this character, that character, that’s so wrong. He’s a piece of all that. He grew up on all of us coming up wanting to do what we do, and now he’s doing it at its highest level. So I saw that article actually sent it to him, because it was really cool the way they [did it]. I thought it was just going to be a little blurb, but just comparing our careers.” said DDP.
