LA Knight is indeed one of the most famous wrestlers in WWE right now, and he has been one of the top wrestlers of the promotion for the last couple of years. He mostly became over with WWE fans from 2023, and he is even one of the highest merchandise sellers of the promotion for the last couple of years.
WWE never projected him as a top star when he joined the promotion. Vince McMahon did not even see him as a wrestler but as a manager. Triple H started projecting him as a wrestler, but he only promoted him as a lower mid card at first. But his hard work made him extremely over with the fans, and today he is one of the top stars of WWE.

But a lot of fans believe that he should never be promoted as a future world champion because of his age. Presently, he is 42 year old, at this is not the time to be promoted as a main event star. But WWE Hall of Famer Mark Henry had another opinion about it as he said; “As far as him being too old, there was a time where in wrestling, you didn’t even get your shot until you were 40. You didn’t get a shot. Guys wrestled into their 60s,”

He continued; “LA Knight is an outstanding talent,” he said. “There was a time when I didn’t believe. I thought that he leaned on what other people did and are doing too much, and not creating his own thing. He has proved that he belongs and deserves the opportunity to be the guy.
Knight is presently having a rivalry with Jey Uso
“There’s things that he does that I would say, ‘Hey man, segue out of that and do more of what you’re really good at,’ which is walk and talk. He’s a good wrestler, at the end of the day. There’s so much that he can do that he doesn’t do, and you need to lean into that.”
LA Knight is a two times WWE United States champion, and he featured on the world championship picture multiple times throughout his WWE career. But it never looked like WWE would ever promote him as a future World Champion, and the concern seems to be true; maybe it is his age that is preventing him from becoming a World Champion in WWE.
