LA Knight has been quite impressive in the Last Time in Now tournament, which has been organised to determine the final opponent of John Cena at the Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. It was the 16 man tournament, and we will soon see the finals where Knight will battle the two times World Heavyweight Champion Gunther.

Knight's journey in this tournament has been quite impressive so far, as he defeated the returning star Zack Ryder in the first round of the tournament. It was a really impressive win as Ryder made his first appearance in WWE in over 5 years, and the responsibility was really huge. In the next round, he defeated The Miz. He was originally scheduled to face Sheamus, but he suffered an injury and was ruled out of the tournament.

LA Knight defeated Jey Uso on RAW last Monday

“I’m not gonna count my chickens at this point. Yeah, there’s GUNTHER—and he’s an unstoppable force. Has anybody ever seen somebody walk into this place and take it over the way I did? If you look back to 2023, a lot of people wanted to count my demise a long time ago. They wanted to say, ‘Oh, this guy’s gonna be a flash in the pan. Oh, this guy’s gonna be flavor of the month.’”

“Huh? Here we go! Two, three years strong—still running. Nothing has changed. I don’t know if you heard when that three count went down… this? You wanna talk about unstoppable force? This is the unstoppable force. This is what it is. I AM what it is.”

But strong reports have it that Gunther will win this tournament and will challenge John Cena at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. But even if LA Knight Knight does not win the tournament, his performance has been really impressive, and it may open further doors for his future. He may finally get the much awaited main event push.
