Kurt Angle is often regarded as one of the best wrestlers of his time, and he is also known as one of the most influential names in the history of professional wrestling. The Olympic Gold Medallist transitioned to professional wrestling back in 1999, and he turned out to be one of the top stars in wrestling in a very short time period.
After having a wonderful time in WWE, Kurt Angle finally decided to leave the promotion in 2006 to join TNA Wrestling, which was the biggest competition of WWE back in those days. He won a total of six world titles before leaving WWE. Angle is still considered the biggest signing ever made by TNA Wrestling.

Kurt Angle discusses the lack of creative freedom in WWE
Angle was also treated as a top star in TNA Wrestling, where he had also been a six times World Champion. He spent nearly A decade in the promotion before leaving it forever in 2015. During a recent appearance on Ken Anderson’s “Mic Check” podcast, Angle discussed having more creative freedom in TNA Wrestling than WWE. He said;
Kurt Angle claimed TNA Wrestling provided more creative freedom than WWE
“In TNA, you get full freedom to do whatever you want to do. The only problem with that is you’re going to have every match that they’re all going to go outside the ring. Every match at WWE, you’re only allowed to do it once a night or twice a night.

Angle joined TNA Wrestling in 2006
"So, we had a lot of you know, doing that kind of stuff and it became very repetitive. You know, diving outside the ring, next match, diving outside the ring, next match, diving outside the ring. It just became repetitive and that’s the only downfall to that. But I did love putting in my own creativity and everything I did.”
Kurt Angle is not the first wrestler to accuse WWE of not having much creative freedom. Many wrestlers have previously condemned the promotion for not giving them enough creative freedom, unlike the recent time, when wrestlers have had much space to pitch their own ideas under the rule of Triple H.
