Karrion Kross' departure from WWE is a matter of discussion for the wrestling world, even after 2 weeks of his WWE release. He was under contract with the promotion for the last 3 years but he did not get to do anything special while being under contract with WWE. It was his second run in the promotion, as he was previously released back in 2021.

But during the final days of his second WWE run, he became quite over with the WWE fans, and he used to receive excellent reactions from the audience. Getting suddenly over with the fans was one of the biggest reasons after he was released from the promotion; the fans started cheering "We Want Kross" during the shows of WWE.

Multi times World Champion believes Karrion Kross will earn success outside of WWE

Fans kept asking the question of why WWE released Karrion Kross, even when he was quite over with the fans. WWE Hall of Famer and five times WCW World Heavyweight Champion Booker T recently discussed the release of Kross, where he explained that he is destined to earn fame outside of WWE. Speaking on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, he said;

Karrion Kross is a two times NXT Champion

“You know, maybe it’s one of those cases where they want Karrion Kross to go build himself like a lot of other guys, like a Drew McIntyre. Drew was in the same position, where he was highly touted. He’s a guy that you never thought would be on the cutting block and boom, he gets released. Jinder Mahal, another guy.

"Cody Rhodes left. So I just think this may be one of the cases of Karrion Kross having to go out there and do something, make a name for yourself, make yourself marketable, give us a reason to pay you some big money.” said the two times WWE Hall of Famer and a former five times WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

When Kross was released from WWE, a lot of fans thought that it could all be a work. But ultimately, it was confirmed that it was not a work and he was a legitimate release. Fans also expected he would return to WWE in the same fashion as R-Truth, but that did not happen. He is going to relocate to the Independent circuit, and we hope he becomes successful.
