Speculations are going really strong on who will be the final opponent of John Cena during his retirement tour. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but one thing is reported that The Champ will wrestle his final match at the Saturday Night's Main Event show that is scheduled for December 13th.
Cena is presently having a rivalry with Brock Lesnar, which started at the end of SummerSlam, where Cena dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes. And when he was about to exit the arena, Brock Lesnar returned to WWE after a couple of years, and to surprise everyone, he beat down Cena.

Brock Lesnar will not be the final opponent of John Cena
After attacking John Cena at SummerSlam, Lesnar did not appear for a month. When Cena made his final appearance on SmackDown and was having a match with Sami Zayn, Lesnar appeared again, and once again, he beat down Cena. Finally, the duo had the long awaited match at the previous WWE premium live event, Wrestlepalooza.
John Cena will retire from in ring action at the end of 2025
Brock Lesnar completely manhandled Cena in this match, and he totally squashed him. A lot of fans are not happy with the way WWE treated Cena in this match since he is having his retirement tour right now, and he will never wrestle again after 2025. Fans were also expecting Lesnar to be the final opponent of Cena, but Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live recently confirmed the following;

Multiple names are rumoured to be the final opponent of Cena
“That was their last match, and Brock is not his final opponent. So, I don’t know what to say now. I thought, why would you do a match like that unless, like John Cena is going to like climb that mountain afterwards, but apparently that’s not the plan. They just killed him. So, I think Brock is probably going to be heading for a title shot or something like that.”
Multiple names have been rumored for who could be the final opponent of John Cena. Bron Breakker has been the favourite to get the honour, but a recent suggestion is that Dominik Mysterio also has a big chance of featuring as the final opponent of Cena. Nonetheless, this will always be remembered as the best retirement run ever.
