A large number of fans are unhappy with the way John Cena's farewell match ended, and they believe he should not have tapped out to accept defeat. Cena dominated the most of the match, but his body gave up at the end, and he could not survive the Sleeper Hold of Gunther. Ultimately, he had no other option but to tap out.

The fans started booing WWE officials after Cena's defeat, as they did not expect him to lose his final match. The biggest negative reaction was drawn by Triple H, the present Chief Content Officer, who is the mastermind of everything. Even some fans accepted the defeat, but they are not ready to accept that the fact that Cena tapped out in his final match.
