Real-life good friend of Cena, R-Truth talked about Cena tapping out in his final match and explained why it was the correct decision to have Cena tap out. Speaking on the “WWE SNME Recap,” he explained the following;

“Bro, it’s bittersweet, man. We don’t want to see him go. I don’t want to see him go. Nobody else want to see him go, we want to — nothing lasts forever. And he’s able to do it on his own terms, That’s what makes me happy and proud. He was able to achieve — if you saw the highlights, the little kid with the belt, he achieved more than he probably thought he could achieve. He achieved more than anyone has.”
The fans are obviously emotionally carried away by John Cena's defeat. The reaction was quite obvious. But it was definitely a brilliant piece of storytelling, and it could not go any better than this.
