There is no denying the fact that the blue brand made him who he is today. Undoubtedly, it was one of the most emotional episodes of SmackDown history.
John Cena had a match with Sami Zayn on his final appearance on SmackDown
Overall, it was a very emotional segment, and ultimately, he was interrupted by Sami Zayn, who thanked him for whatever he did to raise the wrestling industry. And at the end of the segment, he challenged Cena in a one on one where he even put his WWE United States Championship on the line. You also announced that he will be hosting the US title open challenge from now on, much like Cena did.
Brock Lesnar attacked Cena at the end of this match
The duo surprised everyone by showcasing one of the best matches of both of their careers, and it is already considered as match of the year. It was a pity that this match did not have a winner, as it was interrupted by Brock Lesnar at the end. The Beast Incarnate Sami Zayn first followed by attacking John Cena to renew his feud, which he started at the end of SummerSlam.
As Brock Lesnar has made his return and he has attacked John Cena once again, it is pretty much clear that we can expect the duo to have a big match sooner or later. Presently, Crown Jewel is the stage where this match is rumoured and this event is scheduled to take place at Australia. Hopefully, this is going to be another match to remember.
