John Cena has been one of the top stars of the world of professional wrestling for the last 25 years, and he is also one of the highest achieving wrestlers in WWE history. He is a 17 times World Champion in WWE, which is the highest number of World titles in WWE history. He won his 17th World title at WrestleMania 41.
John Cena joined the main roster back in 2002 after WrestleMania X8. He had a decent mid card run upon joining the main roster, WWE decided to promote him as the next face of the promotion. He won his first WWE World Championship at WrestleMania 21, and there was no looking back after that.

Mark Henry praised the legacy of John Cena
He became the face of WWE, and he is also one of the most famous wrestlers in the history of the promotion. WWE Hall of Famer and a former rival of Cena, Mark Henry, recently talked about the legacy of the 17 times World Champion. Recently, Mark Henry gave an interview to Z100, where he discussed the following on the legacy of Cena;
“I respect John a lot. One of the things that I love about John. And this story, I think, has been told a decent amount of times. But it’s the charity stuff that he’s done and never wanting acknowledgement for it.

"The first person to really put that in my mental space, and he didn’t even say it to me, I just watched him do it, was John Cena. You look at all the stuff that he’s done for kids and everything, and he did all that. He did more Make-A-Wishes than anybody ever, and he didn’t want anybody to know.”

Cena will retire from in ring action by the end of this year
"The hardcore wrestling fans will know who you are pretty quick. But the casual viewers who just watch every other week, or whatever it is, it takes them six months to even know you exist, right? And then even longer for people to see you as a main-event player, you know?”
John Cena has already announce that he will retire by the end of this year and presently he is going through his retirement tour. He started his retirement tour at the Netflix RAW Premiere on last January and he has had an excellent final year run so far. He will wrestle his last ever match at Saturday Night's Main Event in December 13.
