TNA Wrestling fans are having an excellent time right now after the partnership deal between WWE and TNA was signed earlier this year. Some of the biggest names in WWE history have worked in TNA Wrestling, and presently, they are having an invasion angle with NXT, which is so far extremely entertaining.

One of the dream returns has also been booked as AJ Styles made a sensational return to TNA wrestling. There is no doubt that AJ Styles was built in the TNA Wrestling, and the fans were desperately waiting to see this sensational return ever since the deal was signed. TNA fans requested more names to appear in TNA.

John Cena 3 1

John Cena rejected the offer to work in TNA Wrestling

One first name had been John Cena, who is presently on his retirement tour. It has been revealed recently that he had the opportunity to work with a TNA Wrestling star, AJ Francis, who was known as Top Dolla in WWE. AJ Francis recently appeared on the “SHAK Wrestling” podcast, where he said that you wanted to work with John Cena on a rap battle, but Cena rejected the pitch;

TNA star AJ Francis made the pitch to work with John Cena in a rap battle

“I mean, you can’t argue with the career that he’s had. But John Cena himself told me that he couldn’t rap with me — that he’d be doing a disservice to himself if he tried. I asked John to get on a song with me when I was still in WWE.”

Cena has only 3 appearances left in his contract

“He was like, ‘Bro, I can’t. I can’t do that anymore. It would be a disservice.’ He said, ‘I’ve heard the things that you do, and I wouldn’t be able to hang with you guys.’ So, I was trying to get him on a song with all of Hit Row, and he was like, ‘Nah, I can’t do it.’ So, I’ll put John Cena at number two.” said Francis, who was previously known as Top Dolla in WWE.

Cena is presently going through his retirement tour, and he will retire by December of this year. A large number of fans wanted to see Cena make at least one appearance in TNA Wrestling, which would have hugely impacted the ratings of the promotion. But with only three appearances left in his contract, it now seems highly unlikely.
