John Cena is presently having a rivalry with Brock Lesnar
“Let me tell you this, I wanted to be one of the return matches for John Cena and his retirement tour. I was talking to them. There was a lot of interest; without giving away too many details, we were probably going to do it. Then I broke my heels.” said the former WWE Champion Rob Van Dam who had a rivalry with Cena back in 2006.
Rob Van Dam only had one rivalry with Cena, and it was back in 2006 for the WWE Championship. Van Dam defeated Cena at the One Night Stand event of the mentioned year to win the WWE Championship. He dropped the Championship only after 22 days to the Rated R Superstar Edge.
