John Cena is slowly heading towards his final appearance in WWE, and it is scheduled for Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. No final opponent for the match has been confirmed yet, but reports suggest that WWE is internally planning to have the former two times World Champion Gunther as the final opponent of Cena.

Gunther is presently out of action with multiple injuries. He wrestled his last match at SummerSlam, where he defended the World Heavyweight Championship against CM Punk and dropped the title. During the match, he suffered injuries and is presently keeping him out of action, but we can expect him to return soon.

Natalya thinks John Cena will refuse to accept a victory in his final match

But will Cena take a victory in his final match? Former WWE Women's Champion Natalya recently talked about the retirement tour of John Cena and shared praise for the 17 times World Champion. She also expressed her doubt whether Cena will accept to win his last match. Speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, she said the following;

John Cena only has a few appearances remaining

“You’re asking me these really hard questions today! So knowing John Cena and the kind of person that he is, I think John would probably refuse to win. I think that he’s ultimately about passing the torch. He’s always about giving back to the business. He’s one of those people, that he wants to leave the business better than how he entered it.

Gunther is reported to be the final opponent of Cena

“But I do think there is something to leaving on top, beating the house. And leaving with your head held high, and just leaving on such a high note. So I’m torn both ways. But I think if it was up to John, he would lose. He would lose and pay it forward.” said the former WWE Smackdown Women's CHampion who is still active in WWE and gets the status of a legend.

John Cena will not only have his final match that is scheduled for Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13, but he has also registered appearance at the upcoming Survivor Series event, where he will definitely have a match. None of his future opponents have been revealed as of now, but the fans can all expect an amazing ride to be waiting in front of them.
