Last Monday, he appeared on RAW, which is recorded as his final appearance in Boston, his hometown. It was an emotional night overall, but it was also and history making show. He challenged Dominik Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, and he defeated him to win the title.

John Cena became a Grand Slam Champion after winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship last Monday on RAW, and soon after winning the title, he expressed his happiness when he wrote about it on his Instagram account. Here is what the present WWE Intercontinental Champion has to say;

John Cena will wrestle his final match at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event on December 13. WWE has organised a 16 man tournament to determine its final opponent. He is also scheduled to have a match at the upcoming Survivor Series event, where we can expect him to defend his title.
