Joe Hendry can definitely be considered the biggest attraction of TNA Wrestling and one of the biggest reasons behind the recent success of the promotion. He has been active in the promotion for the last 3 years, and he has been doing a fantastic job ever since he became a part of it.
Recently, TNA Wrestling signed a huge contract with WWE on a multi year partnership deal, where we are seeing multiple cross promotion appearances as both TNA stars and WWE stars are working with each other. Hendry has also worked in WWE several times, including his biggest appearance at WrestleMania 41 against Randy Orton.

Joe Hendry opens up for the first time Since title loss
He was a part of another history recently when he dropped the TNA World Championship to Trick Williams, who is not a TNA star but an NXT star, which is the development and Territory of WWE. Hendry remained silent since his title drop until recently, when he finally spoke about it. Here is what he had to say;
Joe Hendry created history by competing at WrestleMania 41 as the first ever TNA employee
“When you would go home after rightfully, probably being bullied in school and you watched TNA, who were you watching, Joe? Look at me, you son of a b*tch. You were watching me. You were watching Frankie Kazarian build his kingdom. And you’re right you didn’t lose to just anybody. You lost to someone who’s not even on our roster. That’s embarrassing.”

Joe Hendry dropped the TNA Championship to Trick Williams at NXT Battleground
This is the first time that an active WWE superstar has won any Championships from TNA Wrestling. Trick Williams is a former NXT Champion, and victory will definitely establish him as one of the biggest names going into the main roster soon.

This may be the first time that a cross promotion Championship change has occurred between WWE and TNA Wrestling, but this is definitely not going to be the last time. But as long as WWE is only treating TNA Wrestling as equivalent to NXT, we can only expect TNA stars to win the Championship from NXT.
