The popularity of Joe Hendry has mainly started to increase in 2024 after he started playing his iconic gimmick in TNA Wrestling. The struggling promotion has also gained more fans after Hendry's popularity started to rise. Hendry became even more successful after he appeared in WWE multiple times.
WWE and TNA Wrestling are presently working together as they signed a multi year partnership deal earlier this year. Multiple cross promotion appearances have made things more exciting, and these appearances have also made it clear how popular Joe Hendry is among the WWE fans, along with TNA Wrestling fans. It is reported that Hendry will be a part of WWE full time by the end of next year.
Booker T praised Joe Hendry
So far, Hendry has made multiple appearances in WWE, and he has always received excellent reactions from the fans. He is also the most famous wrestler in TNA Wrestling right now. Two times WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently shared massive praise for the former TNA World Champion. He said;

“I really do. Joe Hendry, he’s an entertainer. He is a performer. He is not the greatest wrestler in the world or anything like that. But that’s not what wrestling is, and I think so many people have gotten caught up in going out and having a five-star match. They have forgotten about what the art of professional wrestling is, and that’s making fans believe and feel a certain way.
He also made multiple appearances in WWE
"The biggest era I always thought was the Attitude Era, and the reason why, it was because of the fan participation. The fans wanted to be involved. They had their chance; they came with the signs. We had more signs in the building back then than you can imagine. It’s because of the fans. We let the fans be a part of the show, and I think that’s something a guy like Joe Hendry does very well, and a guy like Trick Williams also.”
Hendry first appeared in WWE back in 2024 in the NXT, followed by his surprise appearance during the men's Royal Rumble match at the Royal Rumble event. He even had a match at WrestleMania 41 against Randy Orton. He has always received excellent reactions from the WWE fans, and hopefully, he will make more impressive WWE appearances in the future.
