Jinder Mahal is often considered one of the worst World Champions in the history of WWE, but he is still very much remembered by WWE fans. Throughout his WWE career, he was mostly treated as a lower mid card, but suddenly in 2017, Vince McMahon decided to push him as a main eventer, and he shocked the entire world by giving him the WWE Championship.

It was reported that McMahon wanted to capture the huge market of India, much like 2007 when he gave the World Championship to The Great Khali, and it had also been a highly criticized decision. He repeated the same thing in 2017 by giving the World Championship to Jinder Mahal, just because he was an Indian origin wrestler.

Jinder Mahal thinks 3MB should be formed

Before becoming a main eventer in WWE, Mahal was a lower mid card and he was even a part of a jobber faction named 3MB. The team also consisted Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. It was formed in 2012 and dissolved in 2014. Mahal recently remembered this faction and explained why WWE should consider reforming it. Speaking on “The Click and Tell” podcast, he explained the following;

3MB was formed back in 2012, Jinder Mahal, Drew McIntyre, and Heath Slater were the members of this faction

“What I see when I look at that picture is just the journey, almost 15 years, right? Independently, all three of us, so many ups and downs. When the three of us split, Me and Drew, going away for a while, reinventing ourselves. Heath, reinventing himself. Me and Drew, becoming world champions, WWE champions. So now it’s on Heath Slater to become world champion.”

Jinder Mahal is presently active on the independent circuit

“I think now enough time has passed where it’s kind of people have nostalgia. They kind of miss 3MB, and they remember the good times. But at that time, we didn’t have a whole lot of support, not like now. But I think the band has to reform. Maybe have a reunion tour of some sort.”

Drew McIntyre is the only wrestler of this faction who went on to become one of the biggest stars of the wrestling world. He is the only wrestler who is present in WWE right now, and he also stands as a three times world champion of the promotion. Chances are very low that this faction will ever be reformed, but it will definitely be a welcoming addition.
