Jey Uso has been promoted as a main event star in WWE since early 2025, and he has already achieved multiple big successes. The first thing he did was shock the entire world by winning the men's Royal Rumble match and earning the right to challenge a world champion of his choice at WrestleMania 41.
The decision received mixed reactions overall, but it is considered the most shocking outcome in Royal Rumble history. Jey Uso went on to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41 and successfully defeated him to win the title. The wrestling world had been divided into two parts after his victory. It looked like the life crowd loved it, but the online crowd hated it.
Booker T explains Jey Uso's hard work to win back the World title
After dropping the World Heavyweight Championship back to Gunther, he did not get to win the title again despite featuring on the main event scene continuously. It is believed that WWE officials are hesitant to give him the world title again because of the hate he is getting on the internet. Some rumours are also suggesting that the promotion is considering turning him heel to give him some momentum.

WWE Hall of Famer Booker T advocated in favour of Jey Uso and said that he works really hard to win the World Heavyweight Championship again. He also said that he deserved to win the title again for his hard work. Recently, he talked about him on his “Hall of Fame” podcast, where he explained the following;

“Jey Uso, I think he’s solidified in that position. But he’s gonna have to work his a** off to get back to the World Championship. That’s what I’m talking about as far as being in shape; he can’t rest on his laurels. He can’t think that one World Heavyweight Championship is just gonna be guaranteed for him to go back to that spot ever again. That’s not the way it works.”
“That’s why I say he’s gonna have to put in some work, and that’s just my humble personal opinion. And he knows I love him more than anything, and he knows I wouldn’t be saying that if it wasn’t true.” said Booker T, in favour of Jey, who is presently working on Monday night RAW and is also expected to feature in the war games match at Survivor Series.
