Jey Uso is one of the top main eventers of WWE right now, who is also a huge fan favorite. He earned his early recognition in WWE as a tag team wrestler along with his twin brother Jimmy Uso, and they went on to become one of the best tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. They are still quite famous as the Usos in the wrestling world.
Just a number of years ago, WWE started pushing both of the Usos as singles wrestlers. Jey Uso became extremely over with the fans, and the promotion decided to push him as a main eventer. He won the men's Royal Rumble match earlier this year and earned the opportunity to challenge for a desired World title at WrestleMania 41.
Jey Uso revealed pitching a rap battle idea
He decided to challenge Gunther for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 41, and he defeated Gunther to become champion. He had also been like huge fan favorite, and he is one of the top merchandise sellers of WWE right now. He still main event status is main event status, and at the upcoming Saturday Night's Main Event show, he will face CM Punk for the World title.

As Jey Uso is one of the top main eventers of WWE right now, he also has great creative freedom. Recently, he revealed that he pitched an idea of a rap battle in front of the WWE creative team, and he also revealed how the idea went among the officials. Speaking on the “Cheap Heat” podcast recently, he said the following;

big on battle rap. When we switched to the Uso Penitentiary, I told [my] brother, I saw this tag team battle rep. I said, ‘Brother, this is how we got to fire off right here with our promos. At least we just finish each other[‘s sentences].’ Which, that was easy because we’re twins already. But we pitched the battle rap with the New Day. And they deemed it to be the most horrible segment of wrestling. And everybody was like, ‘A battle rap?’ But you know, it was different in our brain.”
“When we got there, we thought it was just gonna be us and the New Day. Like, in a backstage set doing it. But then we got there, we had all the Uso extras, the little homies with the bandanas and the hoodies on. And then they got the whole parade looking like, you know what I’m saying? They had that whole thing jumping.
“We did rehearsals, just so everybody could see it. I started to get into it. But then once we got there, it was supposed to be Usos one whole round, and then the New Day one whole round. And we got there, New Day wanted to break it up. They wanted to do Big E go, then Uso go. And then Kofi go, and then the other Uso go, and then Woods finishes it.” stated Jey Uso.
