It has been a number of weeks since WWE produced one of the worst matches of the year so far. It was a triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship where the present champion Tiffany Stratton defended her title against Jade Cargill and the previous champion Nia Jax. This match took place in an episode of SmackDown.
Nia Jax faces most of the criticism after this match since she made multiple big botches at the end of the match, including getting to kick out to a pin, where the referee had to stop the count since she forgot her role. Tiffany Stratton tried her best to manage the situation and quickly ended the match by pinning her.
Booker T criticized Jade Cargill for her recent botches
Jade Cargill also made major mistakes during the match that had been overlooked due to the mistakes committed by Nia Jax. Cargill even got bastard open for her own mistake and sometimes also criticized her for her botches. WWE Hall of Famer Booker T recently talked about Cargill's botches on his “Hall of Fame” podcast. He said the following;
Jade Cargill is presently out of action with an injury
“The reference was about Jade Cargill’s run in AEW. My thing is, I can’t remember one Jade Cargill match, as far as who she wrestled — nothing’s memorable. Who was it that she dropped the title to? Kris Statlander? I don’t think it was Statlander; I can’t remember the girl’s name.”
Cargill is receiving massive criticism for her botches
“I want to talk about two years in the business — two years being on an active roster — and how hard it is to go out and perform in front of thousands of people while being so young in the business. Someone like Jade, I give her a lot of credit to be able to walk out in front of those people not having the experience of a Charlotte Flair, not having the experience of a Bayley, Naomi, and still say, ‘Man, I’m willing to step in the middle of the frying pan and look as good as I possibly can.”
A large number of fans started to ask questions on why Cargill is still receiving main event force when she is not being able to produce any memorable matches and keeps on making botches during her matches. Some fans have already started to demand to cut her of from the main event level.
