Jacy Jayne is indeed one of the biggest attractions of the NXT right now, and she is doing a tremendous job as the NXT Women's Champion. She won the Championship last May by defeating Stephanie Vaquer in an episode of the NXT, and she has been holding the Championship for the last five months quite strongly.
But the early days of Jacy Jayne in WWE were quite difficult as she was treated as a jobber in her debut match. She started working as a Tag Team wrestler along with Gigi Dolin, and together they won the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship two times. Later, she started working solo, and she also kept on improving. But the fans kept on doubting her.

When she won the NXT Championship in May, a large number of fans doubted the decision and criticized WWE for crowning her as the NXT Women's Champion. It was such a big challenge for Jacy Jane, but finally she managed to turn her doubters into believers. Definitely, she did an amazing job as the NXT Women's Champion.

She has been a fighting champion so far, and she defends her Championship regularly. At the latest big event of the NXT, which was Halloween Havoc, Jacy Jayne defended the Championship successfully against Tatum Paxley. Recently, she appeared on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, where she talked about this match. Here is what she had to say;
“I feel like in a way it’s just me accomplishing my dreams. You know, I started watching wrestling at a very young age. I was like six, I think? And anytime WWE was in town, my parents would take me to the shows. I had all the merch. All my Christmases, all my gifts were just WWE shirts and action figures or whatever it was.

"And I always envisioned myself being here. I didn’t know how I was gonna get here, but I knew I would be here. So now that I’m in real time living it, my 6-year-old self is — her mind is blown. The fact that I’ve been able to accomplish all that I have, I’m honored to be a part of all of this. And it’s a position that I don’t take lightly at all.
“I love every day that I get to be a champion. I love every day that I get to work for this company. And Halloween havoc is a huge pay-per-view. I won the tag team titles for the first time at Halloween Havoc. So it’s a very special pay-per-view to me in general. And I’m very excited to walk in as Women’s Champion this year.” explained Jacy Jayne.
