Jacy Jayne has held the NXT Women's Championship since May, before dropping it to Tatum Paxley, and she has been doing a tremendous job as the face of the women's division of the developmental territory of WWE. She defeated the present Women's World Champion Stephanie Vaquer to win the NXT Women's Championship.

Things had been quite difficult for her ever since winning the Championship as she mostly received negative reactions from the fans. The majority of the fans did not want to accept her as the face of the women's division of the NXT. But slowly, she turned her doubters into believers, and today, she stands as one of the worthiest champions of the NXT.

Jacy Jayne discusses how she wants a title run to be remembered

Jacy Jayne recently talked about her NXT Women's Championship run so far, and she also explained how she wants her Championship run to be remembered among the professional wrestling fans. Speaking on the “Battleground” podcast recently, the former two times NXT women's Tag Team Champion explained the following;

“Obviously, I guess shocking. I feel like I want people to remember this as like my glow-up. Like, the person who they didn’t think would ever become champion, the person that they didn’t think could stand alone, the person that they thought was a midcard or a low carder became the high card.”

“Just like a full transition. Everybody has seen me from day one, and it took me a while to get here. A lot longer than other people. But everybody’s journey is different, so I want people to — when they think of my reign, I want them to think of, ‘Wow she really did it.’ Like, ‘She accomplished the dream, she worked hard, she stayed the course. She did what nobody thought she could do. So maybe someone else will look at my story and be like, ‘I could do that, too.’ Hopefully my story is inspiring to other people.”

She also runs a faction named Fatal Influence

Jacy Jayne made her WWE debut back in 2021 as a jobber, but slowly her situation improved. At first, she worked as a tag team wrestler with Gigi Dolin. Later, she started working as a solo star. After winning the NXT Women's Championship, she has done a reminders job as the face of the women's division. We can also expect her to join the main roster soon.
