The Women's World Championship is presently vacant as the previous champion, Naomi, was forced to relinquish the Championship due to her pregnancy. She won the title at the Evolution 2 event by cashing in her Money in the Bank contract. But she could not enjoy her title reign because she had something else to enjoy, and that was her pregnancy.

After the championship was vacated, the fans expected some exciting way that WWE might announce to crown the new champion. It could have been a tournament, or even a Battle Royal. But last week on RAW, WWE RAW General Manager Adam Pearce finally announced how WWE would crown the new champion.

IYO SKY WWE

Who will win the women's World Championship next between Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer

It had been announced on RAW that there will be a one on one match between Iyo Sky and Stephanie Vaquer at the upcoming WWE event Wrestlepalooza, and the winner of this match will be crowned the new Women's World Champion. And that will be it. Just a simple one on one match to crown the next champion.

Iyo Sky was the previous champion before Naomi

Billi Bhatti of “The Dirty Sheets Wrestling Informer” podcast recently revealed Sky is possibly winning this match, “As things stand, the plan is for Rhea Ripley to recapture the vacant championship in her home country of Australia at the WWE Crown Jewel PLE next month. It’s also believed that Rhea Ripley will end her losing streak to IYO SKY en route to reclaiming the Championship.”

Stephanie Vaquer 3

Stephanie Vaquer was scheduled to challenge Naomi for the title at Clash in Paris

Stephanie Vaquer was the number one contender for the championship, and she was supposed to challenge Naomi for the title at the Clash in Paris event last Sunday. And Iyo Sky was the former champion, which could have been the reason these two wrestlers were selected to fight for the title.

But we must say that the WWE creative team had been extremely lazy in booking the next champion when they could at least have booked something exciting to crown the next champion. A Battle Royal or a tournament would have been an amazing way to announce the next Women's World Champion. Just a simple and random one on one match is such a lazy way to determine the next champion.
