Iyo Sky is indeed one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling right now, and she is also a huge project of WWE right now, which is the biggest wrestling promotion in the world. She has worked in big promotions from all over the world, like Japan and the United States of America, and has also earned multiple successes.

She made her in ring debut back in 2007, and she was only 16 at that time. After working hard in multiple wrestling promotions for a complete decade, she finally made the big breakthrough in WWE back in 2017 when she got the opportunity to compete in the Mae Young Classic tournament. But she did not get the WWE contract instantly after the tournament.

Sky had her big break in WWE back in 2017

“I’ve never watched wrestling before I became a wrestler because my sister invited me to become a wrestler. Before that, I never even watched wrestling. I totally didn’t know what wrestling is. I have no idea about pro wrestling.” said Sky, who is presently active in Monday Night RAW and is having a rivalry with Asuka.

She continued, “[And] I became a wrestler with only three months [of] training. My debut match was awful. Everything was so bad I cannot explain. Even I didn’t know that both shoulders on the mat for a count of 1-2-3 means you lose. I didn’t know that and I didn’t even know that rule, too. I had a debut match in the ring. So that is crazy. I was 16 years old.” said Sky.
