The fans are already quite frustrated with the way WWE has treated Drew McIntyre for the last 4 years. His only proper push ended back in early 2021, and after that, he had only been used to put over other talents. He went in with many wrestlers for the titles scenario, like Bobby Lashley, Roman Reigns, Damian Priest, CM Punk, and most recently, Cody Rhodes.
It was reported in 2023 that he was frustrated with the way he had been treated, and he was even thinking of leaving WWE. But ultimately, he decided to stay, and the fans expected to see an amazing time ahead for the Scottish Psychopath. The fans were even discussing that 2024-25 would be the year of Drew McIntyre.

Drew McIntyre looks to be facing Cody Rhodes again for the title
But no such thing happened; instead, he kept on promoting other talents. He only got one WWE World Heavyweight Championship win, which lasted 5 minutes only. Presently, he is having a rivalry with Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship, and much like most of his major feuds, he is losing back to back matches.
Drew McIntyre had been suspended for his actions on SmackDown last Friday
The first match he had against Cody was at Wrestlepalooza, which he lost, of course. He got a rematch at the Saturday Night's Main Event show on November 1, which he lost again. Both of these matches received loads of dislikes on YouTube. It is pretty much obvious that Cody will not drop the title before WrestleMania, and they just need a wrestler who can kill time with him.

The upcoming Undisputed WWE Championship match has not been confirmed yet
Drew has been presented as the wrestler with whom Cody can kill time. It is pretty much understood that ultimately, he will go on to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 41, and once again, Drew will be left out. After the latest scenario on SmackDown, it is pretty much clear that Drew will continue his rivalry with Cody, and soon the duo will have another match for the title.
If Drewoses again, fans will start hating Triple H for repetitive and extremely predictable booking. They will also start hating Cody Rhodes, which is not going to be a very good look for their present face of the promotion. Triple H has to be a little courageous in this case; to make things look a little unpredictable, he should take the title off Cody Rhodes and give it to Drew McIntyre.
