WWE Hall of Famer remembers Hulk Hogan's racist remarks
Despite the unfortunate demise, the controversies that always chased Hogan behind did not leave even after his death. One of the worst controversies he had in his past was the racist remarks made by him once. WWE Hall of Famer D-Von Dudley recently remembered the incident and explained how hurt he was when it happened. During his recent YouTube video, he explained the following;
Hulk Hogan was the biggest name in professional wrestling throughout the 80s
“I didn’t know how I was going to react when I saw Hogan again. All I knew is I was hurt, I was extremely disappointed, and I just couldn’t imagine somebody who I looked up to…could say these things. It was only until I saw him later on where he pulled me aside and he let me know, ‘D-Von, I’m sorry. That’s not me.

Hogan passed away last month
"That wasn’t me. I know I was wrong for saying it, and I shouldn’t have never said it. I just want the world to be able to forgive me.’ Did I tell him I didn’t like what he said? Yes. Did I tell him he disappointed me? Absolutely I did. I made my feelings known.”
D-Von also explained that Hulk Hogan was really important in his career and how he congratulated him after a title win; “I remember one of the first people that came to me after I won the title was Hogan, hugging me saying, ‘Congratulations, brother. You deserve it.’ And that meant a lot to me.”
Hogan still may have had a lot of controversies behind his back, but it can never be denied that he will always be remembered as one of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling who shaped the entire wrestling world. Not only as a top star of the 80s, he will be known as one of the biggest wrestlers ever. May his soul rest in peace.
