Hulk Hogan made his in ring debut in 1977, only 2 days before his 24th birthday. He worked in a number of independent circuit wrestling promotions before getting to work in WWE back in 1979 for the first time. He spent a couple of years in the promotion, but he was still not a big star, and he was not promoted as a top star in WWE during his first run.
From 1980 to 1985, he had an excellent time in New Japan Pro Wrestling. In 1983, he returned to WWE, and this was the time that he was promoted as a top star of the promotion. This return also marked the rise of Hulkamania. Not only was he the biggest name of WWE, but he became the biggest attraction in the world of professional wrestling.

He kept on appearing on an occasional basis until 2025, the year that marks his death. His last appearance was recorded back to Netflix RAW premiere on January 6th, 2025. He passed away on July 24, 2025.
