Nikki Bella recently made a sensational return to WWE, and she has started working on a full time basis after a long time. She was one of the top stars of the women's division of WWE during her time, and she was also one of the biggest attractions of the promotion during the Divas Era.

Upon returning to action on a full time basis recently, she is working regularly in the ring. Her first feud after her return was against Becky Lynch over the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship. She challenged for the title at Clash in Paris, but she failed to defeat the Irish professional wrestler.

Last Monday on RAW, she had a big match with the Japanese professional wrestler Asuka. It was one of the best matches of the night, and ultimately, Asuka defeated Nikki Bella. Recently, Bella reflected on this match, and she also explained how she prepared for this match. Speaking on her “The Nikki & Brie Show” podcast recently, she explained the following;

Nikki Bella recently made a sensational in ring return

“I was excited because Asuka is obviously one of the best wrestlers in the world for women. We never have had a match, but her and I were the final two of the first women’s Royal Rumble. I thought about how long ago that was, like, oh my gosh. So, my whole Sunday traveling to Milwaukee, I think I watched every Asuka match in history.

"It was great. I wanted to know all the little things about her, how she’s working right now. I wanted to see everything. I literally have caught like every single Asuka match ever, that was my full Sunday of travel.” said the longest reigning Divas champion in the history of WWE.

After her latest defeat at the hands of Asuka, it is pretty much clear that Nikki Bella is brought back just to put over younger talents. She may not have any match with any young talent yet, but the intentions are now clear. We can surely expect her to have a match with upcoming younger talents soon and put them over.
