I told TJ, I was like, ‘Yeah, everybody’s so pissed that they tuned into Raw because they wanted to see what the hell was going to happen.’ Like, people are pissed at Gunther. Now Gunther is the biggest asshole in wrestling.

"So, like people want to see him get his ass beat. I saw a little kid — like I was watching the match from gorilla. And I saw kids and people crying, and the cameras were zooming in on kids yelling at Gunther. Now I want to see who’s going to be made once they beat Gunther. So I think that was probably John Cena’s mindset to it.”
To cope with the heat even more, Gunther started to rub his victory over John Cena in the episodes of RAW in the following weeks. He even disrespected Cena in front of the crowd. The fans have started to hate him even more after this incident. Next, he is rumored to face Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42.
