Goldberg had been a huge fan favorite throughout his professional wrestling career and even after his 50s, events that consisted a match of him went sold out. He and his early recognition while working in WCW, and he was one of the few stars that WCW created. He was a huge attraction of the promotion during his prime.
One of the biggest records he has is his undefeated streak at WCW. He had a 173-0 undefeated streak that stretched for a period of over of year. It defeated the biggest stars of the promotion, including the likes of Hulk Hogan and Sting. Ultimately, he was beaten by Kevin Nash at Starrcade 1998, which ended his undefeated streak.

Goldberg is frustrated with WWE over the fact that Asuka beat his record
This streak remained intact for a long time before it was beaten by Asuka after she made her WWE debut. She remained undefeated for 914 days. Goldberg recently talked about his streak getting beaten by Asuka, and he accused WWE of doing it on purpose. Speaking on the “Real Talk with Mike Burke” podcast recently, he said the following;

“They already did. Some girl at WWE. They did it on purpose. I have nothing against the girl, by any means, but yeah. The whole WWE experience… I was part of WCW when we were kicking their a** in the Monday Night Wars.”
“I didn’t know what was going on at the time; I was just on one of the sides. Now, one side dissolves and the other one consumes everything, so they can treat everyone and everything the way they want. I think there is always going to be the bird in their a** that I was part of a company where I was the champion in a very short period of time, and we were beating them in the ratings.”

Goldberg remained active in WCW until the end of the promotion. In 2003, he joined WWE for the first time and spent only a year. He returned to wrestling in 2016 and kept on working as a part time performer. He had been a three times World Champion in WWE. Recently, he worked in his last ever match against Gunther.
