Bill Goldberg wrestling career

Goldberg had a short professional wrestling career, but even in a short time period, he earned a lot of success and fame from the professional wrestling fans. He earned his early success as an American Football star, and he was a household name in this category. He has played for major NFL teams like the Carolina Panthers and the Los Angeles Rams.

He became a professional wrestler in 1997 after joining WCW after a short period of training. He worked in a number of dark matches before making his television debut against Hugh Morrus in a winning effort. He had been presented as an unstoppable force during his early days in WCW, and he even ran an undefeated streak.

His undefeated streak lasted over a year, and he won back to back 173 matches. He defeated the biggest names of the promotion, including the likes of Curt Hennig and The Giant (The Big Show). He even defeated to win the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. His undefeated streak lasted till the end of 1998.

Finally, he was beaten by Kevin Nash on the final episode of WCW in 1998. It was not a clean win, and this undefeated streak established him as one of the biggest stars in sports entertainment. He remained active until the end of the promotion, but he could never win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after dropping it.

Goldberg remained active in WCW until the end of the promotion, and after the death of WCW, he remained out of professional wrestling for a couple of years. He made his WWE debut and returned to professional wrestling on RAW after WrestleMania XIX, where he directly entered a rivalry with The Rock.

Soon after his WWE debut, he entered a rivalry with Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. At The Unforgiven event of 2003, he defeated Triple H to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. His title reign did not last long as he dropped the title back to Triple H at the Armageddon event of the same year.

He had his final match in WWE against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XX, where he defeated Brock Lesnar and ended his wrestling career. He never returned to wrestling until Survivor Series 2016, when he returned to WWE after nearly 13 years. The first match he had upon returning to WWE was against Brock Lesnar.

He shocked the entire world by defeating Brock Lesnar in less than 2 minutes. The modern day wrestling fans were really pleased with his performance, but everything started to go downhill after that. He started having a part time but brief WWE career after this return, and he had some huge matches with some of the biggest stars of the promotion.

He even won the WWE Universal Championship 2 times and defended the title twice in two different WrestleMania events. He had to go through a lot of criticism for taking this world title run, and also for his limited in ring ability. He wrestled his final match on Saturday Night's Main Event XL against Gunther. He had been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
