Bill Goldberg wrestling career
Goldberg had a short professional wrestling career, but even in a short time period, he earned a lot of success and fame from the professional wrestling fans. He earned his early success as an American Football star, and he was a household name in this category. He has played for major NFL teams like the Carolina Panthers and the Los Angeles Rams.
He became a professional wrestler in 1997 after joining WCW after a short period of training. He worked in a number of dark matches before making his television debut against Hugh Morrus in a winning effort. He even won the WWE Universal Championship 2 times and defended the title twice in two different WrestleMania events. He had to go through a lot of criticism for taking this world title run, and also for his limited in ring ability. He wrestled his final match on Saturday Night's Main Event XL against Gunther. He had been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2018.
