AJ Lee made a sensational return last Friday on SmackDown, and this is her first appearance in WWE in over a decade. As she destroyed herself to the younger audience, "I'm your favorite wrestlers' favorite wrestler," she did not exaggerate anything. For example, Roxanne Perez grew up idolizing her.
Instantly after making the sensational return to WWE, she started a rivalry with the current WWE Women's Intercontinental Champion, Becky Lynch. She will also team up with her husband, CM Punk, to take on the team of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at the upcoming WWE premium live event Wrestlepalooza.
AJ Lee's return caused the burial of Rhea Ripley and Bayley?
AJ Lee's return had been sensational, and it could not have been anything better. But wrestling legend and former WCW World Heavyweight Champion Vince Russo recently claimed that WWE buried Rhea Ripley and Bayley by bringing AJ back. Speaking on the “Coach and Bro Live” podcast, he explained;

“First of all, Michael Jackson is rolling over in his grave because now Triple H has officially taken on the moniker ‘The King of Pops.’ The King of Pops, going forward, that’s what we will refer to Triple H as: The King of Pops.” he continued, “He’s a one-trick pony when it comes to booking. Also, Coach, I don’t mean to be critical, but the way they laid out this whole segment was done ridiculously incorrect. And man, they just have no idea how to do the most basic of things.”

“I’ll just give it to you real quick, twofold, okay? Number one: before Lee comes out and everybody knows she’s coming out, unless you’re brain-dead. Everybody knows she’s coming out. What’s the first thing? What’s the first thing Becky Lynch does?” he said, “She buries every other woman wrestler. ‘I’m not afraid of Bayley, and I’m not…’ Why would you do that? What is the point of burying Bayley and Rhea? You don’t do that, Coach. There’s no reason to do that.”
Bayley is presently working on building a new character and rumors have it that he will play a heel character and will also start a new faction. So it is definitely not a burial but more of a resurrection. Rhea Ripley on the other hand looks a little lost in the shuffle as she is presently out of the World Championship picture too.
