But after this one match, the rivalry between Dominik and Rey kind of stopped and they had some irregular matches every now and then. Dominik Mysterio recently expressed his desire to have a rematch against his father while speaking on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast recently. He continued, "So if you want to come back and I’m the Mega Champion, the Intercontinental Champion as well, he has never fought for that title when it comes to the Mega Championship for AAA. So if I get my hands on it, I’m sure he’s going to want to put his name in the history books but he’s got to go through me, the greatest Mysterio of all time.”

Rey Mysterio is presently 50 years old and he does not have any future left in the world of professional wrestling. Dominik, on the other hand, is doing a great job, and he is only 28. He is definitely a huge prospect and also has a great future. Rey should end this long running feud by giving his son a big push, which would help him for his future.
