Dominik Mysterio may be one of the biggest names in the world of professional wrestling right now, but a large number of fans have forgotten his first major involvement in a wrestling storyline. The incident dates back to 2005, and The Dirty was only Dominik back then, an 8 year old little boy.
Dominik's father, Rey Mysterio, and his real life good friend Eddie Guerrero were having a heated rivalry, which started at WrestleMania 21 with a victory for the Master of 619. Eddie Guerrero also turned heel during this rivalry it and it continued for months. One of the most personal matches between the two took place at SummerSlam 2005.

Chavo Guerrero recently talked about the real life relationship between Dominik and Eddie Guerrero while speaking with Bill Apter recently. He said;

"Well, Dominik, I mean, as a kid, he always, you know, he idolized the Guerreros. He always wanted to be a Guerrero. His dad is Rey Mysterio, one of the best of all time, but he wanted to be like the Guerreros. So, it's pretty cool to see him actually trying to follow in those steps and kind of just using some lie, cheat, steal," Chavo said.

"Dominik is an awesome kid. He's an awesome talent. He's only going to get better. So, for me to actually get in the ring with Dominik would be would be an honor. It would be such an honor just because, to see this guy that I knew since he is a baby, to actually see how well he's gotten and he's only going to get better. So, I would love to teach him in that ring, to give him some Guerrero wisdom, if you want to call it."
That little boy from 2005 is now one of the biggest prospects of WWE and is standing as the present and two times WWE Intercontinental Champion. Last Saturday, he defeated John Cena to win his second WWE Intercontinental Championship, and we can even expect him to become a World Champion in the future.
