Dean Ambrose wrestling career
Dean Ambrose started his professional wrestling journey back in 2004 when he was given his first opportunity to work in a wrestling ring by Heartland Wrestling Association of Les Thatcher. From 2006, he started working regularly on the independent circuit under the ring name Jon Moxley.
Soon after joining the independent circuit, he became a really famous name in the indies as he worked on loads of indie promotions and also won multiple prestigious indie championships. One of the indie promotions that earned him the most recognition was Combat Zone Wrestling, which is mostly famous for its Hardcore style wrestling, and Dean Ambrose was a darling of this promotion.
His impressive work rate on the independent circuit and him a professional contract in WWE back in 2011, and he spent more than a year in the developmental territories of WWE. He was a big star of Florida Championship Wrestling, which was one of the developmental territories of WWE back in those days.
He made his main roster debut at Survivor Series 2012 along with Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. These three wrestlers formed a faction which became famous under the name the Shield. They kept on working together for the next couple of years, and they had become quite famous among the fans. Ambrose even won the WWE United States Championship while being a part of this faction.
In 2014, the faction ended after Seth Rollins betrayed his Tag Team partners. After this betrayal, these three wrestlers started working solo, and all three of these wrestlers went on to become World Champions in WWE. Seth Rollins was the first wrestler of the three to win the World Championship, and he won it at WrestleMania 31.
Ambrose's first proper singles run started after the death of the Shield, and the first rivalry he worked in was with his former best friend, Seth Rollins. This rivalry became quite famous among the fans ,and both wrestlers benefited from it. Ambrose started to be treated as a main event star as soon as he started working solo.
He won the Money in the Bank ladder match of 2016 and also cashed it in on the same night on his former best friend, Seth Rollins, to win the WWE World Championship. At the Battleground event of the same year, he defended the title against Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns, where he retained the title. It was the only time these three wrestlers had a triple threat match.
He dropped the Championship at the Backlash event of 2016 to AJ Styles, and he could never win the World title in WWE despite the promotion continuing to treat him as a main event star. He had some excellent rivalries with multiple top stars, and he also won different championships like the WWE Intercontinental title.
In 2019, he left WWE and joined the newly opened professional wrestling promotion AEW. He reverted to his Jon Moxley ring name back in AEW, and he has always been treated as a main eventer in the promotion. Presently, he stands as a four times World Champion in AEW, and he is still active in the promotion.

Dean Ambrose wife
Dean Ambrose wife is Renee Paquette, who is a famous internet celebrity and is also famous for his non wrestling works. She became famous in WWE under the ring name Renee Young, and she was mostly seen in the promotion as a backstage interviewer and a ring announcer. She left WWE in 2021, and she has been under contract with AEW since 2022.

Dean Ambrose return to WWE
Dean Ambrose return to WWE has been a long-standing rumor ever since he left the promotion in 2019. He instantly joined AEW after leaving WWE, and he has been active in the promotion for the last six years. Reports suggest that his present AEW contract will expire in 2027, so it cannot be expected that he will return to WWE before the mentioned year.
It is also reported that Triple H is really fond of bringing back Dean Ambrose to WWE to reunite the Shield and do a proper dream storyline between him, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. So the fans can expect to see Dean Ambrose returning to WWE after 2027, but before that, chances are very low. So Dean Ambrose return to WWE is not confirmed yet.
