D-Von Dudley had a professional wrestling career of over thirty years, and he is regarded as one of the best Tag Team wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling. His team with Bubba Ray Dudley is famously known as The Dudley Boyz, and they have earned multiple prestigious Tag Team titles from all over the wrestling world.

D-Von Dudley started his wrestling career on the independent circuit, and in the mid 90's he finally got a big call from ECW, where he also teamed up with Bubba Ray Dudley for the first time. After having a wonderful time in ECW as a tag team, the duo transitioned to WWE for the first time, and it was also the beginning of their ultimate success.

D-Von Dudley reveals he did not have to deal with racism in ECW

D-Von recently talked about his experience dealing with racism in both WWE and ECW, and he explained that he did not have to deal with such issues in ECW, but it was difficult in WWE. Recently, he spoke with Maven on his YouTube channel, where he discussed the following about dealing with racism;

“No, I didn’t experience it when we were together. Because of the fact that when we got together, we were in ECW. And in ECW I did not experience it. I experienced it in WWE. I experienced it with certain top officials who — I don’t really want to go and say any names… But my point was, when a person comes up to you and tells you that they don’t like you because of the color of your skin.

"And you’re sitting up there going, ‘Wow, really?’ When [it’s] 1999, 2000 and you’re still coming to me and saying crap like this. There were certain people in that organization and that time that felt that I should not have said anything, who had power to basically bury me if need be just because I might have stood up for what I felt was right.”

D-Von Dudley recently wrestled his final match in TNA Wrestling, and he finally announced his retirement after having a wonderful career in the wrestling world. His career stretched for over 30 years, and he will always be remembered as one of the best Tag Team wrestlers in the history of professional wrestling.
