Cody Rhodes is enjoying his second WWE World Championship run, and he is doing a fantastic job as the champion. He won his first Championship at WrestleMania XL, where he dethroned Roman Reigns and ended his 1300+ days World Championship run. He dropped the title to John Cena at WrestleMania 41 only to take it back at SummerSlam.
Since then, Cody Rhodes has been carrying the Undisputed WWE Championship quite strongly, and just in a matter of time, he will defend the Championship against Drew McIntyre for the second time. Previously, he defended the title against the Scottish Psychopath at Wrestlepalooza, where he successfully retained the Championship.

Drew McIntyre should dethrone Cody Rhodes, thinks pundit
In just a number of hours, we will see Rhodes defending the Championship against Drew McIntyre again at the Saturday Night's Main Event show. The fans will witness a total of four matches in this event, including the World Heavyweight Championship match between Jey Uso and CM Punk.
Cody Rhodes already defeated McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza
Cody Rhodes vs Drew McIntyre presently seems quite predictable as it does not look like the American Nightmare would drop the Championship to The Scottish Psychopath at this moment. Wrestling pundit Sam Roberts recently talked about this upcoming match on his “NotSam Wrestling” podcast, where he explained why McIntyre should win this match;

Rhodes will defend the title against him again at Saturday Night's Main Event
“It’s because Drew is that guy who wrestles in the big match and doesn’t win. The credible opponent who the babyface doesn’t have to take a loss against. You know, you can build to it and he makes you believe and then he losses. But we’ve seen it a lot. And people are right, there have been a lot of Drew McIntyre championship matches, which is why I want him to win it.”
A large number of fans are not happy with the way Drew McIntyre has been treated so far by Triple H. Since dropping the WWE title in early 2021, he got a World Championship reign of only 5 minutes. Chances are very low that he would beat Rhodes for the Championship at this stage. His fans keep on complaining that WWE is misusing him.
