But ultimately, he failed to beat him at the mentioned event.

He returned in 2024 as he became the 4th wrestler in WWE history to win back to back two Royal Rumble matches, and once again, he earned the opportunity to challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Championship. This time, he did not make any mistake and he finally took the Championship away from Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL.
