Cody Rhodes is currently portrayed as the face of WWE, and the promotion has projected him as the wrestler who will replace Roman Reigns. He has been active in WWE since WrestleMania 38, where he made a sensational return as the surprise opponent of Seth Rollins. He won the men's Royal Rumble matches of 2023 and 2024 and earned the right to feature on the main event of WrestleMania in both of those years.
Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns at WrestleMania XL to win the Undisputed WWE Championship, and it was his first world title win. It was also the start of his ultimate main event run in WWE. His first World Championship run lasted for a complete year before he dropped it to John Cena at WrestleMania 41, only to win it back at SummerSlam in August.

Cody Rhodes discusses making fans throughout his life
Despite being the face of WWE, Rhodes' world title run also faced a lot of Criticism for being predictable, monotonous, and boring. Since his first world title win, things have remained extremely predictable about his title run. It is easy to understand that he will never drop his title in any normal event. It only happens in stages like WrestleMania and SummerSlam.
Cody Rhodes is a two times WWE World Champion
Despite all the criticism, he remained one of the biggest attractions of WWE, and he is also the highest merch seller of the promotion. He also claimed that he kept on earning new fans each and every day. Recently, the present Undisputed WWE Champion spoke on the “Bertcast” podcast, where he explained the following on making fans throughout his life;

He will enter the War Games match at Survivor Series
“I had an old-timer tell me once. Because I would do this thing. WWE hated it at first. Now they try to cleverly avoid me doing it. They also don’t mind when I do it though. I will stay out there all night. Cameras are off, I’ll walk the whole round. I’ll go down the aisle. I’ll go back. I’ll stay out there all night.
“And I remember one time somebody telling me, ‘Well, that’s important. You know, you you made a fan for life. You sold a ticket for life.’ And — I even though I respected them a great deal, I didn’t say this to them. I knew, ‘That’s the difference between you and me.’ I wasn’t trying to make a fan for life. Maybe I did. Maybe that’s the byproduct of it. But there’s a difference between selling hope and experience, and selling a ticket.” said Cody Rhodes.
