It had been reported that this match is going to be the opener of the even,t and it is also rumored that it is only going to be a one match feud.
The match was teased at first at the end of the SummerSlam event when John Cena dropped the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes, and a returning Brock Lesnar shocked the entire world by attacking Cena for no reason. Lesnar attacked Cena once again on his final appearance on SmackDown, which ended up in a match at Wrestlepalooza.

Cody Rhodes predicts the winner between John Cena and Brock Lesnar
As already mentioned, this is going to be the show opener and definitely such an unpredictable match. Cody Rhodes, who is also in action at the mentioned event, made a prediction on who will potentially win at Wrestlepalooza between Cena and Lesnar. Speaking on ESPN’s Get Up, ‘The American Nightmare said the following;
John Cena and Brock Lesnar will face each other at the upcoming WWE premium live event Wrestlepalooza
“It’s a very special match-up in terms of Brock Lesnar, former UFC Heavyweight Champion, won the NCAA, which is the hardest tournament in all of folk-style wrestling. But then there’s John Cena. And John Cena is the ultimate red light guy, can do things that nobody can do. So, I’m giving John Cena the edge, but these guys won’t be here forever. This is a special moment in time. I’m excited to see it myself.”

This match is going to be the show opener
This is not the first time Cena and Lesnar going one on one. Their rivalry dates back to 2003 when both of them were still new wrestlers and Lesnar was still a top star. Cena was a heel back then, and he challenged Lesnar for the WWE Championship. In 2003, it was Lesnar who had the last laugh.
They had another rivalry in 2012 and Cena was on his Super Cena mode this time, it defeated returning Lesnar in this occasion. Their last notable rivalry dates back to 2014 when Lesnar defeated Cena again. This is the first time they are going to have a match in 11 years, and this is definitely going to be their last encounter ever.
